The Power of Sponsorship: Why It Matters More Than You Know
Paul Maulsby
American Brahman Breeders Association
Executive Vice President
One of the biggest and most enjoyable events on the ABBA and AJBA calendar is just around the corner: the 2025 AJBA All American. Here in the office, we’ve been working diligently to assist the AJBA-keep our membership informed and to take care of every detail we can think of to ensure our exhibitors, families, and supporters have an enjoyable, memorable experience.
But let’s be honest—pulling off an event like the All American doesn’t happen with a single person or even a single committee. It takes a village. And as I sit here running through our checklist, I’m reminded of just how many amazing, giving people it takes to make this happen. From our incredible Junior Board and dedicated Youth Activities Committee, to the parents, volunteers, and—yes, especially—our sponsors.
I want to take a moment and reflect specifically on the sponsors.

Carrying The Banner: Why Every Breed Needs Champions
Chloe Grimm
American Brahman Breeders Association
Director of Communications & Digital Content
In agriculture, we talk a lot about legacy. About breeders, pedigrees, and ranches passed down through generations. But the thing about legacies, they don’t preserve themselves. It takes someone willing to step forward, make sacrifices, and dedicate their time—someone willing to carry the banner.
Every breed needs those champions. Not just the ranchers and breeders, but the storytellers. The photographers. The juniors. The event planners. The advocates. The voices who may not have deep roots in the Brahman breed—or even agriculture at all—but who care about its future.
